1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SlotVFX ("the Service"), operated by Gamix Labs ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SlotVFX is a browser-based VFX particle editor designed for Cocos Creator 2D game development. The Service includes the online editor at app.slotvfx.com, exported runtime components, preset libraries, and related documentation.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one account
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to VFX projects, particle configurations, and exported assets you create using SlotVFX. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content.

Our Content

The SlotVFX editor, built-in presets, runtime components, documentation, and all related intellectual property belong to Gamix Labs. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service except as expressly permitted.

Preset License

Built-in presets are licensed for use in your game projects. You may use, modify, and include exported preset data in commercial games without attribution. You may not redistribute presets as standalone assets or as part of a competing product.

Runtime License

The exported Cocos Creator runtime components are licensed for use in your game projects. You may distribute the runtime as part of your compiled game. The runtime source code may not be redistributed separately.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Interfere with the Service's operation or impose unreasonable load
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercialize access to the editor itself
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service

6. Subscription & Payments

  • Free tier provides access to core features with limited presets and export options
  • Paid subscriptions unlock all presets, advanced features, and priority support
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Refunds are provided within 14 days of initial purchase for annual plans

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gamix Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • We will provide a 30-day window to export your project data before deletion

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
